Luis and Pere share something that goes way beyond an artistic project—a friendship that spans almost half their lives. Losinformalls were born from a place where the most important thing was always to enjoy the process, embrace boldness, and take the risk of diving into unknown worlds just to see how to make it out of them. This artistic duo's journey began around 2008 when they created their first collective, Elenigmadelafruta. With it, they unknowingly laid the foundation for what today is known as Losinformalls: a performance company that floats between dance, theatre, and the unexplored. A platform for artistic creation in all its forms. It represents a lifestyle grounded in movement, humour, and social provocation, while championing a type of art that's approachable and heartfelt.
Through a series of experiences, accidents, parties, failures—and a few successes too—Luis and Pere have become improvisation pros, Swiss Army knives of creativity, art and life decathletes, lovers of pushing the boundaries of ‘the status quo’ and ‘the politically correct’. Officially, Losinformalls were born at the start of 2019. Through their journey, they’ve crafted an empathetic language both on and off the stage, allowing them to connect their imaginative and artistic universe with audiences at large and professionals in the field. Much like variety performers, their projects and interests break free from conventional theatre limits.
PIED PIPERS is a new outdoor project by Losinformalls, based on two key concepts: on one hand, the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, not as a tale of revenge, but as a representation of a society captivated and transformed by a powerful, almost magical sound. On the other hand, the concept of the "melting pot", a metaphor for how different cultures, identities, and elements mix together to create something new, but without the intention of harmony. In this project, the mix doesn’t seek balance; it’s about a clash of forces that turns the space into something unpredictable.
In “PIED PIPERS”, three performers transform the urban landscape into a stage, inviting the audience to an unexpected party. Through dance, live music, and interaction with the environment, the audience becomes an active part of the experience. The performance celebrates chaos, energy, and spontaneity, not aiming for perfection but rather connecting with the body and the instincts of everyone involved.
