Time and space to shift art in public space
On the 31st of October, the project (UN)COMMON SPACES had been wrapped. What better way to conclude the four years of this rich and experimental project than by sharing our public evaluation: « Time and space to shift art in public space »?
Produced by John Ellingsworth in close collaboration with the Coordination team, this evaluation looks at what was learned over the course of the (UN)COMMON SPACES project, covering each of its major objectives. Here they are divided across four sections : Space to Relate, Time to Grow, Time to Decide, and Space to Reflect.
This evaluation report is based on the quantitative data sent yearly by the partners, the artists and the citizens from November 2020 to October 2024, as well as qualitative surveys conducted following key (UN)COMMOIN SPACES events and other key milestones throughout the project – all reflected on in the context of IN SITU’s long history of experimentation and renewal.
