Public Jukebox

Starting from the idea that sound and music are powerful bearers of emotions, Public Juke-Box is an acoustic public sculpture which enables the citizens to hear sound recordings. After dropping 1 euro, the audience choose the required recording from a playlist. The offer of Juke Box will oscillate between contextual geopolitical menu (J. Strauss – Radetzky Marsch, Klezmer, speech of Vaclav Havel, Muezzin, etc.) and absurd Dada proposal (barking dogs, thunderstorm, crying whales), and emotional link (Beethoven piano sonata n.8, opus 13,in C minor, Sex Pistols – God Save the Queen, Indian shamanic songs, etc.).
