GIimt combines contemporary circus, dance and physical theatre in order to create new and challenging performances that raise important questions about our society and the time we live in.
GLiMT was created by Camila Sarrazin and Lars Lindegaard Gregersen to establish a company that would allow them to experiment fully with the fusion of physical skills, visual aesthetics and clear dramaturgy.
In 2002 they founded the company and have since then created a multitude of various performances, always finding new ways to express their themes. They each have their own personal angle to create a performance from their various backgrounds in contemporary dance and circus. Combining their skills , they focus on social or philosphical themes, exploring them physically.
Their work is a fusion of physical theatre, contemporary circus, contemporary dance, many times live music, using scenography as an active part of the performance and its treatment of the theme. GLiMT has created more than 15 performances in varying scale and format like an interactive forest performance, small and larger black box style performances and intimate installation performance. GLiMT has toured their performances extensively both in Denmark and internationally
