Paul Forecast

(UN)COMMON SPACES 2020-2024 Associate citizen

Paul Forecast’s childhood fascination for wildlife which set the path for a thirty-year career in the conservation sector. He is the associate citizen of (UN)COMMON SPACES British partner Norfolk & Norwich Festival.

Paul has been in the charity sector for two decades, working for the National Trust and RSPB and as volunteer trustee for the Mammal Society and Shark Trust.

Paul is currently the National Trust’s Regional Director for the Midlands and the East of England. Paul leads a cross functional team to protect and care for 146 places covering coastline, historic sites, countryside, green spaces, and the largest collection of art in the UK. Within Paul’s region are many places that connect directly to the artists, including landscapes designed by Repton and Capability Brown, the birthplaces of Edward Elgar and John Constable, and the home of George Bernard Shaw. Every year these places bring nature, beauty, and history to millions.
