with 'Infinite Game'

Infinite Game is an immersive performance created from experiences and stories collected in different countries. Sitting at a table, in the company of others, but in introspection, the audience is invited to meditate on memory, permanence and finitude. Everyone will find their place in the cycles of the infinite game: the game in which there are no losers and no winners, the game that has no beginning and no end.

This piece is the result of a conversation and collaboration with archaeologists, undertakers, local activists, curators and artists in Spain and France. It was created as part of Invisible Bonds, Maldonado's long-term, multi-country artistic research, in which she investigates the performativity of death in everyday life and draws on local knowledge to design critical immersive experiences that propose a reconnection with our own finitude and with the natural cycles of which we are a part.
