with 'Going visiting the river that dried up'
The Going Visiting method was developed through Nana Francisca Schottländer's work in and with landscapes. It is a framework for investigation and co-creation through encounters with a territory, generating new understandings and shared aesthetic and sensory cartographies.
Based in Copenhagen, Nana Francisca Schottländer creates projects at the intersection of dance, performance, installation and conceptual art.
She has created and presented performances at the Pergine Festival (IT), Breath Days (IT), Louisiana Museum of Modern Art (DK), Kunsthal Charlottenborg (DK), Roskilde Festival (DK), Heartland Festival (DK), KØS Museum (DK), The Danish National Gallery (DK), Festival of Future Nows / Hamburger Bahnhof (DE) and solo exhibitions at Liselund (DK), The Tunnelfactory (DK), The Danish National Gallery and Art Center Silkeborg Bad (DK).
From September 11 to 20, 2023, as part of the (UN)COMMON SPACES project as IN SITU associate artist, she will be conducting research around the Aygalades stream.
On Monday September 18 at 6pm, the public will be invited to attend the restitution of the project during a residency outing at the Cité des arts de la rue.
