The original space of the former sports center Erpet Smíchov and its surroundings will once again be open to spectators. This year's exhibition entitled Everything is Everything will present artists and art projects from all over the Czech Republic and its curators are Jiří Ptáček and Denisa Václavová .

The autumn part of the festival, focused mainly on the presentation of premieres of dance and theater ensembles and projects from abroad and the Czech Republic, will take place from October 6 to 14, 2023 in the Archa Theater, the Ponec Theater and in a non-traditional space.

Scenes of the crime, the artistic part of this year's 28th year of the international contemporary art festival 4 + 4 days in motion, will take place from May 11 to 21 in Erpet Smíchov and its surroundings. The original space of the former sports center from the 1980s will be filled by the exhibition Všechno je svách, which will present artists and art projects from all over the Czech Republic. Among them will be, for example, Karolína Netolická, Lucie Sceranková and Julius Reichel, in total around 60 artists will participate.

" With the exhibition Everything is everyone, we want to take a position that is based on the growing awareness of the interconnectedness and complexity of the processes and systems of which we are a part. In art that overcomes isolation, it contains grains of idealism and possibility rather than impossibility. In art that transcends vanity, but at the same time does not deny anxiety, insecurity and fears ," state the curators Jiří Ptáček and Denisa Václavová .

The 4 + 4 Days in Motion festival enters unusual, abandoned spaces all over Prague through the Crime Scenes project. During the previous 27 years, contemporary innovative art projects have revitalized more than 30 remarkable places, waiting for transformation, demolition or new use. From a sewage treatment plant, a factory, a brewery, a brickyard, a department store, a casino, a gymnasium, a winter stadium, an elementary school, a museum, a classical palace, a zoo, to the Erpet sports center, where the festival first went last year and again this year.
